Christina Japp is an independent and international full-service advisor and appraiser based in New York City.
With a discerning eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding about the global art market and the art itself, Christina created her trusted advisory to bring an intimate, elevated, and tailored approach to the business of fine art collecting and valuations.
At the heart of Christina’s firm are a roster of distinguished private and corporate collectors, museums, wealth management and law firms, banks, estates, and art loan and insurance companies. Clients come to Christina for discreet, dedicated art advisory, appraisals, collection and estate management services, and private sales and acquisitions.
Christina brings over 25 years of experience in the art market, including formative tenure with Sotheby’s and Heritage Auctions.
Specialties include: 20th Century Decorative Art and Design, Post-War, Contemporary and Emerging Art, and Latin American Art, 21st Century Design, and Impressionist and Modern Art.
In 2010, Christina co-authored The Art of Bugatti for the Mullin Automotive Museum (Coachbilt Press).
As a qualified IRS appraiser, Japp is a Certified Member, AAA, Appraisers Association of America, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliant through September 2026.
